A little about me…

I am the founder/writer of ScribeMasters.com, an Internet-based business that offers full writing and editorial services. Some of my professional experience includes: Published freelance writer, screenplay writer (www.carlaiacovetti.com)copywriter/editor, ghostwriter (fiction & non-fiction), scriptwriter, awarded poet, broadcast journalist, and newspaper reporting. In addition to my writing and editorial services, I currently work as a freelance news reporter for Ventura County Reporter, and I am the head writer at KSS Productions, LLC (www.kssproductions.com), a licensed, independent television, film and muti-media company based in Nashville, Tennessee and Los Angeles.

As a professional writer, I admit to being a bit of a “word chaser.” I love the interplay of words. Rudyard Kipling so wisely stated, “Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind.” They can bless or curse, breathe love or spew hate.  Words can create impressions, images and build certain expectations. They influence how we think. Since thoughts determine actions, there’s a powerful connection between the words we use and the results we get. Advertisers know this, business guru’s know this, and the media exists from this premise.

Given my belief about word power, I always try to “fill my pages with the breathing of my heart.” (William Wordsworth)

This blog takes a comical look at the journey of  a writer.  While some of the blog posts touch on real events, admittedly  I take artistic liberties here to stress a point.  There can be a lot of twists and turns that accompany the writing profession, and this is a fun and informative way to share some of those experiences with my reading audience.

My apology for the delayed response.
Just happened to catch, and finally read what you have here.
My congratulations to your disciplined fingers. Mine are yet full of loquacity. This leaves very little space for full impact of my expressions.
Press on, or I should say…

    • No need to apologize E.J. I too have been remiss in responding to your comment. I actually didn’t realize that you left one (sorry).

My fingers don’t really know how to quit, which of course is the result of a very over-stimulated mind.

Alas, it’s nearing 1:30 am, and I do need to visit the sandman.

      Good night!
